For students looking to eventually transfer to a 4 year
university.The Academy at MiraCosta has many options
depending on each student's goals and abilities.
The University of California Transfer Admission
Guarantee (TAG)and California State University
Associate Degree to Transfer (ADT)Programs are
offered through MiraCosta College and give students
the opportunity to attend one of California's prestigious
universities.Upon acceptance to The Academy,for
students that have expressed interest in transferring.
students will be placed into the TAG or ADT path.
TAG partner schools include:UC Santa Barbara,UC
Davis,UC Riverside,UC Santa Cruz,UC Merced and UC
Irvine.



For students interested in the ADT path,MiraCosta
College does not have individual agreements with
direct admissions to a particular CSU (except San
Marcos).However,working with counselors students are
guaranteed to have their MiraCosta credits completely
lined up with CSU requirements.

For those that are looking at schools outside of the UC
or CSU systems,The Academy has direct partnerships
with private and public schools throughout the country.
With a wide range of schools provides a wide range of
potential majors from Business Administration to Game
Design.Some partner schools include:The University of
Utah,American University,Florida International,University
of Pacific.University of IIlinois at Chicago and many
other schools.Additionally,as a partner to many these
institutions,students transferring from The Academy will
have access to a variety of scholarships (on top of the
tuition saved from college credits already earned).
