Learning Pathway

The High School

Build foundations with close-knit instruction

Program Snapshot

Small Group Learning

Students begin with high school courses taught by Academy faculty in classes averaging four learners. Select subjects are delivered one-on-one, providing the attention needed to adjust to a new academic environment.

As confidence grows, students add MiraCosta College courses that align with their goals while still receiving targeted tutoring and counseling.

Credit Requirements

Graduate With Momentum

Students complete a minimum of 75 high school credits through a blend of high school and college classes. Each semester your counselor works with you to balance challenge and support, making sure you stay on track for graduation and university transfer.

First Semester Foundations

Transition With Confidence

Every Academy student takes the Foundations course during the first semester to master academic research, essay writing, and the expectations of American classrooms. The course carries high school credit and equips students with lasting study skills.

Weekly Support

Teachers meet with students in small cohorts or individually every week to review college lectures, assignments, and questions. We make sure you feel prepared for every class.
